a lot of people would prefer to close their eyes, even when they know what they're seeing isn't reality, they prefer the rose-colored world that they dream up. I've done that several times, seen something or someone that I want so badly to be the way that I imagine it, the way I think it should be, the way I want it to be. Even though I know its not real, I continue to want to pretend that it is, live in a fantasy world. It's very freeing but sometimes painful to open your eyes to the way things really are and quit pretending.

robyn, i'm so glad you dropped by. thank you for sharing your two cents. :) yes, some people prefer to close their eyes but when they do, they feel their heartbeat and hear what their mind is telling them. when you open your eyes, they suddenly numb themselves after the shock. talk to you soon!
